Dungeons have three group modes, chosen by how many people go in together.
- Solo: one player.
- Party: two to five players.
- Raid: six to twelve players.
Friends
Press V to open the Friends window and see your friends list.
Chat channels
Chat has seven channels: local, party, guild, whisper, roll, global and trade. Press Enter or / to start typing in chat.
Global and trade chat
Global and trade chat are the two world channels. Your character must reach character level 3 before you can use them.
- Global chat allows one message every 3 seconds.
- Trade chat allows one message every 10 seconds.
Whispers and mutes
A whisper goes to one player. If a moderator mutes you, your messages are stopped in every channel, including whispers, until the mute ends.
Reporting a player
Type /report followed by the player's name and an optional reason, or right-click the name in chat. You can add a note of up to 200 characters.
- Your report includes a copy of up to 30 recent chat lines that the player sent or received.
- You can report the same player once an hour, and you can make up to five reports an hour in total.
- Only moderators can see who made a report. The player being reported never sees it.
