Crafting
Crafting turns gathered materials into goods, one step at a time. Crafted gear is the best obtainable tier, and player-crafted equipment can be traded.

The Crafting book
Press N or use the dock to open the Crafting book. It has side tabs with All, a search box that keeps focus while you type, and a craftable-only checkbox. A filter for materials in your inventory narrows the list to recipes you can start with what you carry.
The queue
Crafting is timed. A craft joins a queue and takes its time, so you can line up several steps and keep playing. The Max button fills the quantity up to what your materials allow, and one craft action is capped at 100 units.
Smelting and materials
Smelting needs one ore. The Discarded Workshop Scrap in Kheldra Town is a gathering node that yields ore, and it regrows after 5 minutes. Carried materials show their weight in the inventory.
Repairs
Tools and gear wear with use. Repair them at the forge. The inventory sheet has a Repair all button: one repair kit repairs every owned damaged tool below maximum condition in one action. The tooltip shows the exact repair materials and cost before you commit.
Factories
A player can place a factory on a site that is allowed for it, and run a production loop that turns inputs into goods. Each character can own one factory. The owner can withdraw stored inputs. Factories cannot be placed on claimed homes or guild land.
