Mounts and vehicles
Mounts carry you across the land, and vehicles carry goods. Both belong to your character, and both stay out of dungeons.

Mounts
Kheldra has 25 mount breeds. A mount you acquire belongs to your character. You saddle it and ride it, and each breed has its own speed and stamina.
Mounts need feeding and rest. Feed a mount to top it up, and rest it when its stamina runs low.
Riding rules
- You cannot mount or ride inside a dungeon.
- A mounted character cannot use a portal book or the Town Portal spell. Dismount first.
- Terrain and buildings still block a mount, so ride around them.
- You can only ride one thing at a time: a mount or a vehicle, not both.
Vehicles
Kheldra has 25 vehicle chassis, from a handcart up to large wagons, drayers and skiffs. Each one has its own cargo capacity, speed, fuel and durability.
Building a vehicle uses wood and ore, plus a cart wheel or a wagon chassis. The larger vehicles use more materials.
Boarding and cargo
You board a vehicle while you stand next to it. A vehicle holds cargo up to its capacity. Its durability wears down as it is used.
Mounts and vehicles cannot be used inside a dungeon, and a character who is already mounted cannot board a vehicle until they dismount.
