Regions
There are five regions with five sites each: Riverlands, Deep Forest, High Frontier, Northern Trail and West March. Every water body has at least one fishing spot. The Brook Fisher works the mill pond.
What you need
- A fishing rod. The rod wears with use, so keep it repaired at the forge.
- Bait. Sites take one, two or three bait per cast, depending on the site.
- Bait and fish are ordinary inventory items. Fish you catch stay in your inventory and can be eaten.
Sites, cooldowns and quality
- Each site has a cooldown after a catch, from 3 minutes at the quickest sites to 10 minutes at the slowest.
- Higher-quality sites take more bait and more time, and give better fish.
- Fishing trains the Scavenging skill. The amount of skill gained depends on the bait used.
Tips
- Start at the Riverlands sites. They have the shortest cooldowns and need the least bait.
- Carry spare bait before you walk out to the far regions, because a trip back to town costs time.
